Training for an Ironman or 140.6 race

From beginners to Hawaii Ironman Age Group Champions to top professionals since 2001 we have helped hundreds of athletes achieve their Ironman dreams around the world. Our plans are custom to your fitness time available to train and come with unlimited email from our coaches but best of all they help you maximize your potential.

The Ironman triathlon is such a daunting challenge (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a 26.2 mile marathon, all in one day, a total of 140.6 miles ) that one can easily get in trouble in training. Our experience in this arena its unmatched by any coaching organization and that allows us to take the guess work out of the training equation for you. You will then feel relieved knowing that you are doing the right thing when following our workouts and training protocol.

Top professionals finish this race somewhere between 8 to 9 hours and beginners or senior athletes can easily be out there up to 15 or 17 hours. What cannot be ignored here is that "in race" nutrition and hydration will be as important and being super fit. No one can perform for such a long period of time on good genes and water. Our coaches will guide you on how to determine what the proper amount of calories and fluids will be for you.

If your Iron distance triathlon is in the next 12 to 22 weeks, time is of the essence. You are ready to start our peak performance program. This program takes you through three phases of training (base, speed, and taper) and provides you with daily workouts including tips to help you gain the most benefit from each of these sessions. The program incorporates heart rate zones so that you will maximize your fitness gains, and also includes a four phase strength training program, tips on nutrition, mental focus guidelines, equipment checklists and more. The fee for the peak performance program is US$29.00 per week.

If your Ironman race is in more than 22 weeks your best bet is to get started with our Maintenance Program, which is designed to help build and maintain a base of off-season fitness while still enabling you to recover perfectly to be able to slot comfortably into our peak performance program later. The fee for the maintenance program is US$19.00 per week.
